 SYNOPSIS

Hotshot jet skier BILLY BURNETT has a dream; to join the pro jet ski tour. His problem – no sponsors. His solution – stream a wild jet ski video online to his thousands of social media fans and hope he gets discovered by a potential sponsor.

The setting is a golf course country club where a posh, poolside charity event is taking place. Suddenly a smoke bomb creates a wall of blue smoke. In dramatic fashion, Billy appears through the smoke in an inflatable T-Rex costume, aboard a jet ski on a cart. As his friends wheel him into the pool we know we’re about to witness internet gold!

Backflips and spins, Billy’s jet ski skills are impressive. The crowd is enjoying the show but the screaming golf course owner is another story. Billy sprays the owner to shut him up, but then his costume begins to deflate. The T-Rex head goes limp and blocks Billy's view. He panics and launches his jet ski into the air, over the infinity edge. We hear a crash below where beautiful vintage cars are on display. Billy looks over the edge and can’t believe his eyes. His jet ski has pierced through the roof of a beautiful 69 Camaro.

Two worlds have just collided. The Camaro is the prized possession of Billy’s father, DOUGLAS BURNETT. Douglas and his wife, Nancy arrive at the country club to inspect the damage as a fun loving tow truck operator, DANNY “DOG” BASSETT gets ready to load the carnage up. Years of Billy’s irresponsible behavior have taken their toll and this is the final straw. Douglas wants Billy out of the house for good but his wife won’t have it and storms off.

Dog lives in the glory days of his past as a race team mechanic and smells an opportunity to relive it. He concocts a plan to solve everything – “Send Billy on the Pro Jet Ski Tour!” “You’ll look like the supportive Dad, be rid of Billy for the summer, and save your marriage all in one shot.”

Douglas buys into it and under the guise of giving Billy his dream shot, lines up a sponsorship from a client at his ad agency. Meanwhile, Dog scrambles to secure his part of the deal, to convince his longtime friend, legendary five-time world champion, JARID HARPER to join the team as Billy’s coach. Jarid is retired and wants nothing to do with touring again but Dog knows exactly which buttons to push and before long Jarid agrees.

The team embarks on the ultimate summer road trip. Adrenaline filled racing, sizzling hot bodies, and hilarious road trip high-jinks ensue. Billy's recklessness and cocky attitude eventually wear thin with Jarid’s work-hard ethics. To add to the conflicts, Billy also falls for the women’s world champion, KELLY WEBER. Kelly is also a forbidden love, the ex-girlfriend of men’s world champion, RICHARD HURT, a ruthless rider that will do anything to win.

As the laughs grow more uproarious, so too grow the conflicts. Tensions eventually reach a boiling point until Billy finally humbles himself, turning to Jarid for help. In return, Jarid fills Billy’s fatherly void and passes the torch by sharing a longrumored racing secret. Billy soon comes of age, showing his true championship capabilities, but Richard won’t go down without a fight and retaliates by destroying Billy’s equipment and his dreams.

The forlorn team returns home where everyone must face their truths and personal issues. After a heart to heart with Jarid, Douglas steps up to give Billy the support he needs to see things through. Armed with his newfound support and maturity, Billy and the team head back for the highly anticipated championship event for a knock-down-drag-out, winner-take-all battle with Richard and Kelly both in the electrifying mix. It’s an edge of your seat finale, filled with surprises!
